Workshop Summary
Last weekend's workshop was a great success.  We had more than 40 attendees, representing all but one of the collaborating institutions in our TCN.  Attendees gave overview presentations on the history, scope, and challenges faced in their own institutional collections and U of I InvertNet technical team members gave overview presentations on their efforts to test and implement automated digitization workflows.  Following the presentations, we had hands-on demonstrations of digitization hardware and invertnet.org cyberinfrastructure and collaboration tools.  We also had a series of curatorial blitzes during which visiting curators helped curate parts of the INHS insect collection.
We plan to post videos of workshop presentations at invertnet.org within the next week or so, so stay tuned!
