For the second year in-a-row, ecological biodiversity data repositories and data specialists will collaborate at the Ecological Society of America's annual meeting to add a Data Help Desk to the Poster/Exhibition Hall. The Environmental Data Initiative (EDI), iDigBio, Earth Science Information Partners (ESIP), DataONE, GBIF, NEON and Arctic Data Center will each engage participants one-on-one about their questions, comments and concerns about using these data in their discipline and area of research. Keep your eye on this wiki to see what we'll be talking about (expect more information after June 4th. We plan to work closely with the Biodiversity Data Dialogs Special Session folks (GBIF, NEON, iDigBio) who are doing a session on data, data papers, data use practices and opportunities.
