Developing Robust Object to Image to Data (DROID) Workflows Workshop

Building 105, University of Florida

(9:30 AM, Wed. 30 May – 6:00 PM, Thu. 31 May)

We are pleased to announce a Workshop co-sponsored by Integrated Digitized Biocollections (iDigBio) and Software Infrastructure for Sustained Innovation (S2I2) entitled “DROID: Developing Robust Object-to-Image-to-Data Workflows”. The workshop will be held on May 30th and May 31st in Gainesville, Florida. The agenda provides an overview with greater detail describing the intentions and expected outcomes of this workshop, as well as the scheduled activities.

We will make a best effort to both broadcast and record the Workshop, and breakout sessions, using Adobe Connect. If you are interested in viewing the Workshop, please utilize the Adobe Connect link below (please share the agenda and link with any colleagues who may also be interested). The Adobe Connect session will be conducted in broadcast-only mode, so participants will only be able to view a webcam of the room (main conference room only, not available in breakout sessions), view screen-sharing from presenters and scribes, and hear the audio from the room. The Adobe Connect “Chat” module will be monitored during the meeting by iDigBio personnel to assist remote users with connectivity issues, and to provide some capability for input to be received from remote participants.
