iDigBio, the National Science Foundation’s national HUB for Advancing Digitization of Biological Collections (ADBC), is hosting a workshop to expand the number of persons in the community able to train others to georeference biodiversity specimens. The workshop will be held at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, on October 8 - 12, 2012. It is organized by iDigBio's Georeferencing Working Group and iDigBio Staff. Members of all 7 current TCNs are participating in this workshop as are invited applicants for the few open spots.
