  • Greg Riccardi: iDigBio's role in facilitating and enabling digitization
  • Jose Fortes: Cyberinfrastructure, portal and data

  • Austin Mast: Public participation and citizen science management
  • Gil Nelson: Community building, digitization workflow development, training and product workshops

Extended discussions, about 1.5 hours each on such topics as crowdsourcing/citizen science, cyber infrastructure, workflow, global collections for advancing scientific research, etc. Collection tours to be included in these days. Content for these days is still being worked out.

15:00-16:00 Tour of Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex (near Tidbinbilla)
16:00 Return to Canberra
