The ASU Natural History Collections consist of nine different collections that support the university's teaching, research and public outreach functions. Our collections emphasize flora and fauna from the arid southwest of North America. Since 2018, we operate the National Ecological Observatory Network (NEON) Biorepository, which contains a diversity of nearly 70 collections with close to 400,000 organismal and environmental samples.
