The US region of the Research Data Alliance (RDA/US) invites applications for its Data Share fellowship program. The program’s goal is to engage students and early career researchers in the US in RDA, a dynamic global organization that seeks to eliminate the technical and social barriers to research data sharing.
The deadline to apply for the RDA/US Data Share Fellowship Program is this coming Monday, 18 April 2016. Graduate students, postdoctoral students and early career professionals in the United States are encouraged to apply for this excellent opportunity.
Selected applicants will engage in the RDA through carrying out self-proposed projects and through extensive networking and communication with the RDA community.
The Program duration is 12 or 18 months depending on the nature of the project proposed by the applicant. Fellows will receive a $5000 or $10,000 stipend, as well as travel to RDA plenaries during the duration of the fellowship (international and domestic travel).
