A quick tour of iDigBio public resources

As any good media-based effort should, iDigBio participates in social networking and maintains a strong on-line presence. We communicate in real time via Facebook [1] and Twitter [2], but did you know that iDigBio also has a Vimeo page [3] where we archive videos from past seminars and workshops?

To add to these resources, we also maintain a community announcements [4] page with announcements for workshops and short courses, grants and fellowships, and job openings submitted by members of the iDigBio community. In the community forum [5], folks can discuss all things iDigBio, ranging from workshops and working groups to digitization workflows to collections management databases.  We also maintain a regularly updated bibliography page [6]  with links to information about presentations and articles of interest by iDigBio members, participants, and other interested parties.  Finally, our wiki [7] serves as a hub for rapid access to many different topics, and we encourage you to sign up and participate!
