The USDA-ARS Systematic Mycology & Microbiology Laboratory includes the U.S. National Fungus Collections (BPI) with one-million reference specimens. Data associated with these specimens have been computerized and are available on-line. In addition reports of fungi on plants provide a comprehensive account of the host range and geographic distribution of fungi on plants throughout the world.
