Another confusing plant but the light purple-tinged green, more thin, linear leaves with numerous closely set teeth, widely spaced perpendicular peduncles, brown-tipped tepals, and filament insertion suggests A. Palmeri; the absence of pink or red flowers, the yellow tepals (but not golden yellow), short tepals and ovulary and less deep (than palmeri) tube suggests genes from A. chrysantha",
