==Digitization Academy==
iDigBio is translating its past successes with professional development into a more standardized and predictable set of digitization training opportunities called the "iDigBio Digitization Academy".  The academy's first 4-day course "Introduction to Biodiversity Specimen Digitization" received such strong interest from the community that it was offered twice in Summer 2021.  A second 4-day course "Public Participation in Digitization of Biodiversity Collections" will be offered in December 2021 with additional course offerings being rolled out in 2022.
